Ingredients and Method

Ingredients

  • Lavender Layer
  • 200 g Fond Royal Neutral
  • 250 g Water
  • 1000 g Whipped Cream
  • 50 g Lavender Paste – Dreidoppel
  • Vanilla Layer
  • 200 g Fond Royal Neutral
  • 250 g Water
  • 1000 g Whipped Cream
  • 50 g Vanilla Paste – Dreidoppel
  • Sponge
  • 2 Layers Vanilla Sponge Cake

Method

  1. Lavender Layer: In a mixing bowl combine fond royal neutral with water and mix well.
  2. Add the lavender paste and mix until we combined.
  3. Fold the whip cream into the mix.
  4. Spread the mix over 1 layer of your vanilla sponge layers.
  5. Add the second vanilla sponge layer on top.
  6. Vanilla Layer: In a mixing bowl combine fond royal neutral with water and mix well.
  7. Add the vanilla paste and mix until we combined.
  8. Fold the whip cream into the mix
  9. Spead the mix over the second vanilla sponge layer.
  10. Allow to cool, glaze with a cold glaze and mix lavender paste for a marble effect.
